Participation with Copley Youth Football requires online registration through our website.  To create an account or login to an existing, click here .
 
In addition to completing the online registration, all football players need to be registered with National Sports ID (NSID).

All first year tackle players will be receiving a notification email from National Sport ID that was initiated by the head coach of your team asking you to create your athletes ID for age verification. The OGYFA has adopted National Sports ID for verifying your athletes age. If your athlete does not have this completed by August 15th, your athlete will not be eligible to participate in games.

*If your athlete has already been verified via NSID, the only additional item needed will be an updated physical form.  

Your athlete is not considered registered and will not participate in any practice or game of any kind if they are not registered with NSID.  
ALL Registration Forms MUST be completed prior to start of season in order to participant.  

To get your athlete verified, follow the link that was sent or visit www.nationalsportsid.com to create an account. FLAG Players DO NOT need to complete.

To complete your profile, you will upload: 
1. A clear Picture/Headshot of your athlete (no hat, glasses, or headbands)
2. Student's Report Card (with grade and school year visible)
3.  Birth certificate, ID Card, or Passport

Once uploaded, hit save and a red box will appear for you to e-sign two waivers. Click the first link to complete the Concussion Waiver and then the second link to complete the Parent/Guardian Consent Waiver.  From there, two more documents will be uploaded.

4. Current Sports Physical (this is noted as Physical)
5. Lindsay's Law Form (this is noted as Custom)

Please note that although NSID asks for payment, you do not need to pay. Do everything minus payment.

OGYFA Divisions      
**birthday as of 7/1/2024**

Flag:  Ages 5&6, K-1st grade in Fall 
7v7:   Age 7, 2nd grade in Fall
Freshmen:  Ages 8, Line only players will be any weight above 95 lbs.
Sophomore: Age 9, Line only players will be any weight above 115 lbs.
Junior Varsity: Age 10, Line only players will be any weight above 130 lbs.                                         
Varsity:  Age 11, Line only players will be any weight above 140 lbs.   
*12 yr. old's allowed ONLY if weight < 100 lbs. 

Eligible TACKLE participants are ages 8 to 11 as of July 1, 2024.  Participants will be placed on an age-appropriate team according to OGYFA bylaws.
